Gorivo je zorganziral Domen in so ze cakali, ko sem pristal.
Lep sprejem z vodnim topom gasilnega avta...
V dobrih dveh dneh so letalo dobro pregledali, natocili smo gorivo in upam, da jutri odletim proti Gold Coast v Avstraliji. Juzni otok NZ in Caberra zaradi ciklona nad Canberro odpade. Matevž Lenarčič 03.03.2012 09:52:41 GMT
Hi guys, The fligth to Cook Islands was proceeding really smoothly, the weather got spoiled only after I landed. Domen organised the fuel and the team with fuel was already waiting for me when I landed.
In the morning the weather was ok but only about an hour after I took off, it spoiled again so I was flying in clouds again and with the help of Domen I was able to get some orientation. Domen was planning the flight with the help of sattelite images through the cold front on its narrow point.Still, the rain was terrible and flying very demanding. Five hours later the weather improved, but then the I was hit by hard strong head winds, which prolonged the flight for at least two hours! Also, the weather above New Zealand was sad, no nice photos, I am afraid.
The next day I flew to Tauranga to do the service of Rotax to Colin Alexander, Solo Wing. Strong wind made this short flight even shorter, but the landing was very turbulent with 38 kts of wind. But I got a really nice welcome with water tower from the local firebrigade!
In the last two days the plane was checked thoroughly, we tanked fuel and I hope I can fly tomorrow out towards Gold Coast in Australia. Due to the bad weather and cyclon in the South Island of New Zealand and Canberra I will have to skip these destinations, I am afraid!
So far, all well.

,da me silno vznemirja dualnost dogajanja.
Bogdaj srečo in zdravje našemu sanjskemu orkestru!
Lepe dneve in vse dobro,Zemljani! Update from Matevz 03.03.2012 07:24:03 GMT
Hello everybody, I have just been speaking with Matevz on the phone and we are trying to work out a plan for tomorrow. As you have already read New Zealand is experiencing some of the worst weather in many years with winds in some areas last night over 160 kilometres per hour. He is due to leave New Zealand and fly directly to Canberra Australia but they have experienced the worst weather in recorded history with the State of New South Wales having more land under water than the total size of Germany and France added together. To put it in perspective and go to Google maps, have a look at New South Wales and then imagine about one third of this total area under water. That is thousands of square kilometres. The rain is continuing and it is not looking good for travel to this area so we are currently talking about changing the route and instead of going to Canberra going some 2000 kilometres north to the Gold Coast where I am based and he should be able to skirt around the very northern side of all of the bad weather and possibly make it into Australia otherwise there is no hope that he will be in New Zealand stuck for at least four or five days. If everything works according to his plan about two hours ago he will leave at sunrise in New Zealand and fly well over 2000 kilometres to the Gold Coast which is just South of Brisbane. If our plan works correctly he will arrive on the Gold Coast around 6 PM in the evening, we will then hop on to a commercial jet flight and fly down to Canberra landing around midnight and then attend a special function organised by the Slovenian Embassy in Australia. Once this is finished we will then head back to the Gold Coast and arrive Monday evening. This will give us Tuesday to put a few things on the plane because I understand he needs a new wheel spat and a few replacement stickers which have come off flying through torrential rain. Please remember however this is just a plan for now. Things may change in the next 12 hours if the weather does not improve. Unfortunately, this is about as much as I know and can pass on to the group and I know you are all desperate for more information but unfortunately we have no control of the weather and is basically ended up on the other side of the world in one of the worst weather systems at least in the last 50 years. As I get more information or let you know. Miran Fingust 03.03.2012 05:43:33 GMT

@Mamo: Dear Mamo, to be honest, I do not know. From my personal experience in accident I had in Alaskan mountains, I can tell you that a strong mind can do miracles. You can move mountains, litterelly! I believe it is the same with Matevž. When you HAVE to, when there is NO other possibility, you can persude your mind that you are not hungry, that you are not thirsty, that you are not tired, because you have to keep going, as this means being alive. When you are walking on the edge, as Matevž did, when climbing in the mountains and what he partly also wrote about in his books, this ordinary things as we constantly keep thinking about all the time, do not have such a huge meening, when it goes for your life, it is important to stay ALIVE and the mind can function different if you do not run into panic... Of course our body has it life and needs, too and all what it comes, but I bet when you are strugling with storm up there above the sea, being thirsty or hungry is irrelevant at that certain point. Please, keep in mind, that this is just my point of view. I can give you only answer from my point of view. gp bartoli 02.03.2012 22:12:54 GMT

Kakšno neverjetno hotenje in moč navdiha, kakšna fantastična vzdržljivost!?Težko skapirati. Krasno Vas je spremljati, fantastično delo, tveganje in lepote.
Tehnične možnosti so fenomenalne.
Te stvari zelo odmevajo in biserna ogrlica dosežkov mejcene ajdovske firme bo kmalu okronana z vsem, kar z neverjetno moćjo počenja naš Matevž.Kolega s spleta ga
Midwaya navzgor do Iwo Jime in do samega bridkega konca tragedije v Hirošimi in v Nagasakiju.Na dnu tega Oceana še razpadajo tisoči nekdaj lepih in hitrih strojev z imeni Zero,Micubiši,Hellcat,Avenger,Catalina ali Dauntless.Tolkli so se in padali so v vode oceana zaradi vojne za ozemlja, surovine in moč.
Največji sili sveta prav v tem času napenjata mišice in
OBS! A niso pisali, da bo g.Obama sprejel g.Boskarola nekega lepega dne?Če ga morda bo,bo,upam s seboj vzel še g.Lenarčiča, da mu bosta skupaj povedala kako lepo drugače bi lahko bilo na tem velikem modrem planetu? Pokorno javljam!Hvala,g.Matevž, še bomo gruntali o tem kaj nam odkrivate, hvala! SREČNO!Rojenice in Sojenice in Angeli naj vam svetijo na Vaši veliki Poti. Tardus 02.03.2012 17:53:38 GMT
